Guided Long Mountain Running Day - including Challenging Scrambling

This guided running session is for hill runners who’d like to push themselves a bit further, and are happy scrambling on steep rocky terrain. It is led by Mountaineering Instructor and ultra-runner Giles Ruck, assisted by a local hill runner.

Distance: 25 - 35 km

Total Ascent: 1500m

Run Duration: 7 hours

Terrain: Rough mountain paths, some steep sections, some hard scrambling

Technical Rating: Challenging

Endurance rating: 4 – Participants must be able to travel up to 35km at a pace of about 6 km/hr
