Antenatal Class - Introduction to Newborn Carrying

This workshop is ideal for those parents-to-be, and parents/carers of babies up to six weeks of age, who want to find out more about why carrying matters for their newborn’s arrival.

Using a baby carrier is a wonderful way to keep your child close to you where they belong, while giving you your hands back and the freedom to get around. We will show you a range of carriers that are suitable for newborns and young infants, and show you how to put them on safely, using weighted demo dolls, and then your own young baby if appropriate. We will discuss the importance of protecting the airway and ensure you know how to do this confidently. There will be plenty of opportunities to practice and ask questions.

The £30 price of this workshop includes a free four week stretchy hire from the sling library. The ticket is per family unit.
