Choquequirao Trek 4 Days

Trek to the ruins of one of Peru’s most remarkable Inca sites, Choquequirao. The archeological ruins of Choquequirao (Cradle of Gold) are also known as “Machu Picchu’s Sacred Sister” due to the similarities in the architectural structure of both sites. Our Choquequirao Trek is a truly spectacular hike that plunges down deep into the Apurimac Canyon and then up again to the fascinating ruins of Choquequirao. Throughout this challenging trek, you are rewarded with spectacular views high above the Apurimac on this unique and isolated trail located high in the Andes. Surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and seated on a high ridge, Choquequirao is a remote and rarely visited ¨lost city of the Incas¨.
